Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time -
Express postage is express postage and not rushing your order. All orders are made to order and are processed within 6 weeks for all products. All Christmas/Easter products will be completed in a timely matter for the special event.  If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order you will be notified by email

Shipping rates & delivery estimates -
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking -
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes -
Mostly A Mum is not responsible for excess fees, all fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages -
Although we pack items to the best of our ability Mostly A Mum is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact Australia Post and follow all steps to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim as this is require for Australia Post 

Shipment to P.O. boxes -
Mostly A Mum​ ships to all address types. Mostly A Mum is not liable for lost or damaged goods.

Turn around time is up to 6 weeks. Meaning that your item can take up to 6 weeks to be completed, all special occasions like Christmas, Mothers and Fathers day ETC will have cut of dates and will be completed in time for arrival for the special day. Keeping in mind when you order we do not take responsibility for how long postage may take. If in doubt do express post (express post is only express postage not rushing of your order). I am a working solo from start to finish. Although I wish I was able to do this full time, I also work full time and have 2 children. WARNING
Mostly A Mum items are for photo and decor purposes only. Please do not allow children to place the items in their mouth, please ensure children are always supervised as these items are not toys. Do not hang items above cots or change tables.

Product care
Do not display any Mostly A Mum items in direct sunlight. Milestone discs or gift tags, storing away, store in a dry area with parchment paper between each tag to prevent damage.
To display baby plaques or affirmations we recommend 3M command velcro strips (please follow pack instructions to preserve product and walls. Also ensure you purchase the correct strips to suit the weight of the product) another option is a table easel!
Acrylic items - Wipe gently with microfibre cloth
Plywood – Gently wipe.
Plywood and painted items are sealed,

Product Variances:
 Mostly A Mum items are all handmade, though I take great care, there may be slight variations to the images you see on the website and Mostly A Mum socials.

Although we try our very best to portray the colours of our items, please keep in mind colours may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings.

Hand painted acrylic – items may have slight discolour when held up to the light but are perfectly fine against solid colours.

Please note that due to the nature of the plywood there may be colour variations from one product to another, which could include different shades and knots.

Refunds/Exchanges:

Because our products are made to order and or customer, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. Please choose carefully as we do not exchange for choosing incorrectly.

If you deem a product faulty, please send an email to mostlyamum.enquiries@gmail.com to arrange a replacement. This must be done within 5 business days of receiving your product. Please include images.

Your items are packaged to ensure your product is protected during transit. Mostly A Mum is not liable for any damages during transit. If damagers occur, please follow the instructions here https://auspost.com.au/receiving/delayed-lost-or-damaged-items/compensation.

Photographed items
Items that you purchase will be photographed and may be posted onto all Mostly A Mum platforms.
